Step1: preparations

In the friendship bracelet, you may need 3 strands 1mm Nylon Thread, each should be at least 100cm long; 1 strand 2mm Nylon Thread as the main holding ends, the length may depend on the wrist size of the wearer.

Firstly, find the center of 3 long strands and then make the famous “Chinese Snake” knot for part of the closure. During this process, add the 2mm thread in;

Secondly, loop the center part by tying an overhand knot with two yellow strands.

Step2: weave the main friendship bracelet part

Firstly, clip the loop onto a board and then decide the orders of main 6 working ends. In my tutorial, the orders are: Magenta, Blue and yellow from the outer to inner on each side. 

Secondly, make the Larks Head Knot by the two yellow threads alternately;

Thirdly, repeat the same processes with two blue threads;

Next, do the same by the two Magenta ones.

Step3: complete making the friendship bracelet:

Firstly, end the step2 by making an extra “Chinese Snake knot”;

Next, trim the excess thread;

Thirdly, melt ends of all threads.
