To know the size of your curved barbell, you need to know its length and thickness.
Firstly, try to relax and straighten your body. Measure the straight-line distance from navel piercing point above to the piercing point below, which determines the inner length between two balls in a straight line.
Secondly, find the gauge size, namely the thickness of the barbell bar, which is determined by the size of the needle that you were pieced.
You can choose suitable bar length and gauge from the chart below. Please note, 3/8" (10mm) is the standard bar length, and 14 Gauge (1.6mm) is the standard Gauge size.

Nose Ring Size Chart
What nose ring size should I get?
The standard size of nose ring is 18 Gauge or 20 Gauge, and the common length of nose stud is measured around 1/4” to 5/16”.
These standard sizes are just for reference, and may vary for different anatomy.
When you get your nose pierced, try to choose the nose jewelry which is bit longer to accommodate any swelling. After the swelling subsides, replace it with a snug one in time. After all, a large one will move around and be not good for healing.
For hoop nose rings, you’d better go to a nostril shop to experiment different hoop size before purchasing to find the size that fits you better.
Eyebrow Piercing Jewelry
The most commonly used sizes for eyebrow piercing jewelry are 18 gauge and 15 gauge.
For the people who wear eyebrow jewelry for the first time, it’s suggested to choose a lightweight curved barbell, which can reduce various issues like migration during healing. After healing completely, you can change to a hoop style like a captive bead ring if you like.
What’s worth noting is that you should choose a larger one for your initial jewelry piece to accommodate any swelling. After the swelling subsides, replace it with a snug one in time.
It’s not easy for you to change your eyebrow pieces because there are separate entry and exit points for eyebrow piercing. You’d better ask a piercer for help.
Tongue Piercing Jewelry
A straight barbell is often used for tongue piercing jewelry. This type of jewelry features two beads on either ends with a long straight bar in the center. One of the beads can be unscrewed to take down for piercing.
The length of your barbell is determined by your anatomy. Being too long or too short can be not good for your piercing. You can seek for help from piercers to get the proper length.
Lip Piercing Jewelry
Lip piercing jewelry often uses captive bead rings and labret or flat back studs for piercing. The proper size of lip piercing depends on your anatomy and the oversize of your lip. Our flat back studs lip rings are 18 gauge.
Waist Beads
Waist beads are often considered a piece of fashionable body jewelry worn around the waist. They are traditionally worn by woman as a symbol of waist size, sensuality, health, femininity and maturity. For example, some people use waist beads to control their weight. If the waist beads drop or get tighter over time, it indicates that you are losing or gaining weight.
